Aether Cue (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS and iPadOS applications (collectively, the “App”).

Our Core Privacy Principle: Your data stays on your device. We don’t collect, store, or access your personal information on our servers—because we don’t have any servers.

Aether Cue is designed with privacy at its core. We do not:

  • Collect personal information
  • Require account creation
  • Use analytics or tracking tools
  • Display advertisements
  • Sell or share your data with third parties
  • Upload your data to our servers (we don’t have any)
  • Use cookies or similar tracking technologies

Information Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure frameworks (SwiftData, UserDefaults, and App Groups):

Cue List Data

  • Scene and cue information you create
  • Timing and duration settings
  • Trigger assignments
  • Show history and execution logs

Network Data

  • Device pairing information for team coordination
  • Local network connection data (peer-to-peer only)

App Preferences

  • Display preferences
  • Audio and haptic settings
  • Remote control configurations

Team Coordination & Network Sync

Aether Cue enables team coordination via local mesh networking:

  • Local Network Only: All coordination happens over your local WiFi or Bluetooth
  • No Internet Required: Does not use internet servers or cloud services
  • Encrypted: All network communication is encrypted
  • Peer-to-Peer: Direct device-to-device communication only

Third-Party Services

Aether Cue does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics, or tracking tools.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

  • Retention: Data remains on your device until you delete it
  • Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all local data
  • Manual Deletion: You can delete individual cue lists within the app

Children’s Privacy

Aether Cue does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
